Won our photographer in a contest-how much do we tip?

We entered in a contest last year where we had to write our story and it was narrowed down to 3 couples and then voted on.  We won!  We are 2 weeks out and working on the envelopes.  How much should we tip her since we won the photography?  Thanks for the help!

I would tip whatever you would have tipped if you were paying for the package you won.

This forces the question, what does one tip for a photographer, usually?  Is it 20% 15%?

20% is a pretty standard gratuity.

Customarily, one does not actually tip the photographer if he/she owns the photography business.

However, if you are going to tip, 15% should be sufficient.
