We have musicians playing ceremony and cocktail hour and we are not inviting them to dinner.  They are a vendor playing for 1.5 hours and are being paid for their time and services.  If they were going to be there for many hours (like the DJ or photographer), they would've been provided a vendor meal.
  • ditto PP.  As long as you're not keeping them over dinner time and you're paying them I don't think you need to feed them.
  • Check her contract.  It might include dinner, especially if her rate seems low.
  • We offered, but I don't think the musicians took us up on it. Our vendor meals were like $20, though. Our reception was also down the street, so I don't know that they'd want to travel to the reception to just go to dinner. If your ceremony and reception are in the same location, that would be easier for her to take you up on it. But I don't think you HAVE to offer.
