... "I know you've been fired, but I can't talk to you about it." ??
We have a temp in our office (M) who is absolutely not cutting it for her job. We are firing M tomorrow at the end of the day, and a new temp is starting on Thursday. The only problem is - I am the only person who will be in the office tomorrow, and I will have to collect M's keys from her before she leaves.
I won't have to fire her. I think my supervisor (S) is going to call and talk to her at the end of the day tomorrow. But I definitely don't want to say anything that disputes what S says, so I'm just going to say nothing at all. The problem is, M has confided in me a lot these last few days and I know for a fact she's going to ask questions.
Any suggestions on a good, blanket-type "sorry I can't tell you shiit" statement?
