NYC Photographer Review

Hi ladies – I normally stick to the Destination Wedding board since I’m getting married in Jamaica next October, but wanted to share my experience with Shaun Baker of Shaun Baker Photography. We got our engagement photos taken with him and he is AWESOME. His prices are crazy reasonable and he is open to taking pictures anywhere in the city (we did ours in Brooklyn Bridge Park and did shots in several different locations, which was great to have such variety). He is very professional and in addition to his camera, he has lighting that he brings so that you stand out in all of your shots. We got our pictures taken on Sunday and the next day, our preview was already posted on his website! We did pictures on Oct. 23 and received our disk with photos in the mail yesterday (the disk is included in his fee).

If you are looking for someone to shoot your engagement pics or even your wedding, look into him – you will definitely not be disappointed!

Your pictures came out beautiful! Me and my FI just had our engagement photos taken on November 1st and are picking them up on Tuesday! I'm soo excited to see how they came out! My photographer is also giving us a cd with all of our proofs without their logo so we can go anywhere to make copies/enlargements.

I was going to put up my own post about Shaun but noticed yours. I totally agree. He is great and went over by an hour in order to get us even more amazing shots. We went to a total of 3 locations, the Highline, West Village, and the water (1 more than we had agreed apon) and he even took time to take a bunch of photos of our dogs. He's extremely reasonable, costing us $300 for a total of 200 photos where many of them had special effects applied to them. We were looking for a vintagy look that he was able to deliver to us. I'm just disappoined that we're getting married in Maui, so won't be able to use him for the wedding.
