If you half a recipe do you half the cooking time?  It's meat loaf.

No, you don't half the cooking time.  Unless you like raw meatloaf.

I don't, but  I might watch it about 15 minutes from the end.  I especially wouldn't half-time meatloaf.

Night, are you doing yours on a broiler pan or in a loaf pan?

That seemed wrong to me too, but the hour (recommended for the full recipe) seems like too much.  I'll start checking it at 40:00 minutes.

I would be worried that cooking it the full time would overcook it and dry it out. Dry meatloaf sucks. I have no suggestions but can you do an internal temp check?

That sounds about what I do, but for a full 1 lb loaf. I do mine on a broiler pan - less grease.
I also top mine with ketchup, but I adore ketchup.

I'm the only one who eats it around here, but I make sandwiches with it cold, too, so it's a good leftover.

Dammit, Night, now I want meatloaf.

It's turkey meatloaf.  We'll see how it turns out.

Just to let you know if you cook it in mini muffin trays, it cooks in less than 20min and theyre bitesized pieces of meatloaf goodness.

To review: It was quite delicious Turkey meatloaf.  Although, we may invest in a mini muffin pan just for these because we both liked the outside best.
