help me pick our late night snack!

so our venue was recently bought out by another company and while my contract with them is still valid and has not changed, for new clients they have made differences with the menu options and i can take advantage of the new options if i want to.

Anyway that means i can't decide which late night option to go with

  • Gosh, those are all pretty heavy options for late night.  Will you have served a full dinner earlier?

  • my 2nd choice was the pulled pork.  it was a tough one.

  • I would say tacos because they are a little bit lighter. But then they could also be the messiest. So I choose sliders.

Those are all pretty heavy "snacks", but I'd go with pizza--with eight varieties, it sounds like everyone could find something they liked.  I don't know how it will work in your situation, but it also sounds like that would be the easiest to just grab a slice and snack on, instead of having to hang on to a sandwich and fries, or a taco with stuff falling out all over the place (but, maybe that's just me being messy).

It does sound a lot but i've seen pictures and they are small portions. Little pizza's, sliders and mini taco's and with the exception of the sliders you can take what you want in whatever portion you want, buffet style

  • dang. i want to be a guest at YOUR wedding. :)

  • Pizza will always win with me.

Also, if you'll have any vegetarians there the other options won't work

  • I'd definitely go with the pizza, especially since you can have different varieties, including a veggie option!

That is a great point that i hadn't thought about. I can be indecisive about food because i want to please as many people as i can. I have asked the venue if i could mix and match say the sliders with the pizza and am waiting to hear back so that is another possible option that i forgot to include

  • I'm the only one who voted for it, but I love pulled pork.  Like, big time.

  • Pizza is always a good idea.

  • Pizza, for the vegetarian aspect. Don't get me wrong, I am a CONFIRMED carnivore. But you want your vegetarian guests to be able to enjoy the late night snack. And I love me some veggie pizza.
  • We're doing sliders & fries with cool dipping sauces.  So, I'm based.

  • I like both the pizza option, and the sliders and fries option/ That also might be because I love french fries after a night of drinking, or pizza. Actually, I just love food in general and would eat any of those options.

Well, tacos might, if it's a make-your-own taco bar.

  • Definitly go with something greasy (sliders and ketchup).. I just think for late night snacks that is the type of food your guests would crave (well I know I do!!) We are doing a grilled cheese, fries, and onion ring station late night!
