Alix- or anyone else I guess- I have a question about Deep Blue Sea.  You know the part where whatsherface strips down to her skivies to stand on her wetsuit and electrocute the shark? Why does she have to strip down? I understand she needs rubber to protect herself from the electricity, but a) she's wearing rubber shoes, and b) she gets in the water right away anyway.  It doesn't make any sense to me.

Edit: I mean the obvious answer is that she needed an excuse to strip down in the movie, but I was just wondering if I was missing something.

1. What are you doing right this second (other than knotting)? procrastinating. I have 3 (very short, 1-page) papers due on Wednesday and I don't want to write them.

2. Last book you read or one you are currently reading? this is so embarrassing. the House of Night series, the 5th one. I'm almost done and should start the 6th one tonight if I don't write the papers. I'm going through teen lit phase. but also Freakanomics, and I'm partly through Mythology, Canterbury Tales, and Emma.

3. Have you seen The Hangover and was it the awesome? yes, and yes it is. especially when you're drunk in the theater. it's still funny months later on the small screen and sober.

4. If you found a thousand dollars, what would you do with it? pay for my wedding.

5. What's for dinner? cheeseburger and fries. and water.

edit: the animal. I'm scared of fish and I don't know why. they're smelly slimy slippery creatures that I love to eat.

Bonus: Is there an animal you're scared of? What and why. Bats. OMFG. They freak me out, even behind the glass at the zoo. We found a dead one in my apartment a few years ago, and ever since, I'm freaked out.

Just watched it again yesterday. LOVE.

Depends. If it was in public, probably turn it in. If it was in the middle of a field with no one around to claim it, I'd have a brand new outfit and night on the town with my honey.

Bonus: Is there an animal you're scared of? What and why. Cows, after one ran me up a tree, where I was stuck for hours, and another chased me when I was on a morning run.

Stray dogs. It's ridiculous, because I've always had dogs and love them to death. When I was traveling in India, there were stray dogs everywhere in packs. They'd fight to the death every night right outside my window, and they'd growl and snap at you on the street. Now, if I see a dog without a collar or an owner, I get all nervous.
