One of the groomsmen's wives told me she was going to buy my bouquet for the wedding. Although it's a very nice gesture, and I really do appreciate it- I'm a little annoyed for a few reasons. 1. Since she's buying it, I HAVE to use the florist she used for her wedding- for my bouquet AND my BMs (she already talked to the florist). 2. I feel that I can't get what I want because I have to keep in mind that she's paying (She never set a $ limit, and I don't even know what I want, but I feel like I'm already restricted). 3. She already said that she's going to have it 'kept' for me after the wedding (which I never really wanted). 4. Aside from the bouquet she now emails me constantly telling me how she's going to help me (ie. pick up the cake etc).
My mom passed away 3 weeks ago, and I feel like she's trying to help me because I don't really have anyone to guide me anymore. I really do appreciate her help, but I'm getting really overwhelmed. Do I just sit back and let her help me or do I say something? I'm mainly upset about the flower situation because I feel that I'm really restricted because I don't want to pick flowers that she can't afford etc. (I don't think I would, but I don't even know what her budget is, and she asked me NOT to ask her!) Thanks...
