bridal shower favors

I was looking at bridal shower favors and I was wondering who is supposed to buy them. Is the bride supposed to bring them or is that something the host does?

Re: bridal shower favors

  • I'm pretty sure it's something the host/ess provides.

I was going to try to use mine as an example, but there weren't any favors at mine and no one seemed to miss them.
  • If it's in their budget and they want to, the host(s) would provide them.
  • The host provides them.  But they aren't really necessary.
  • The hostesses of my shower did not have favors and I'm pretty sure that nobody missed them.

  • I bought them when I hosted my sister's shower.
  • Definitely the host. And I agree that they are optional. If you had something special in mind to distribute to your guests as favors, you could talk to the host about it.
