Dad can't give me away :(

My dad is very sick and cannot leave the hospital for my wedding. He's been in the hospital for over a year and may never get out. We are having a small ceremony at the hospital with him, and a formal wedding in the church the day after. My dad's brother will be giving me away at the formal wedding. I want to make sure my uncle is recognized. How do I list him in the program?

Uncle of the Bride would be fine.  You can simply list it beside the Bridal Processional - John Smith, Uncle of the Bride, Song - Artist or under the participants list him as Bridal/Bride escort.

So sorry your Dad is ill. You can just write "Bride's Escort" or "Uncle of the Bride."

I would list him as 'Uncle of the Bride' [more personal that way]. Maybe you can set up a webcam so your father can watch [if he's able] from the hospital. Then you could say something to him at the ceremony. My father has passed away but I would have done something like that so he could 'be there with me' as much as possible.
