Economical way to print photobooth pics

Fi and I are doing a photobooth.. but arent sure if we should have all the photos print out, or if we should just load them automatically to shutterfly/flickr.

If we are going to print them, we also need recommendations on a cheap, yet quality printer.  Suggestions on both topics welcome!

  • My FI and I are having a photobooth too.  We are using Go Festive.  Our package prints two of every strip, one for the guest and one to go in our photo guest book.  We also get a disc of all the photos.  I doubt you will want every single one - people may take some that you don't like.  I would use shutterfly and use that to get extra prints of the ones I like.

  • Are you referring to a DIY photobooth? I've been toying wih this idea and think that if we do it we will probably just load the pictures online. I can't figure out the logistics of having a printer and making sure that people know how to make everything work without having someone take the computer to go online and check the score of the game.

This was one of the issues we were worried about, so we hired our photographer's mother in law to man the photobooth for $10/hr. She'll snap the pics, and we'll bring in our home printer (which I can't remember the model right now, but it's one where you can hook it up directly to the camera) so she can print them for people.

All we did was ask our photographer if she knew anyone that could help, like an older teen or cousin or something.
