Hi Ladies!
I'm curious about what your opinons are...this is sort of a two-part question, sorry for the long post...
Background info: I work with a wonderful group of girls. I've worked with 4 of them for about the past 10 years.
1. Co-worker #1 - my boss (she cried when I got engaged, she was so happy for me)
2. Co-worker #2 (my "work mom")
3. Co-worker #3
4. Co-worker #4
And then there are 2 other girls who I've only worked with for the past year or so, but they are part of the co-worker group and are very likeable (we can call them co-workers #5 & #6).
Now I like everyone (all 6 girls that I'm talking about that I work in the same department with). I'd like to invite all of them, but there isn't necessarily room in our budget for everyone. I definately want my boss and my "work mom" to be at our wedding.
Conundrum: I'm concerned that if I don't invite the entire group, the ones that were not invited will feel left out or even offended. I do think that they would be understanding, but I'm not sure what the right thing to do is for this situation.
#1 and #2 are on my "A-list" (so to speak), what do I do about the other 4 people?
AND...do I have to invite their spouses? (which doubles the head count from 6 to 12)
What would you do in this situation?
