I thought I had done my invitations correctly. I didn't have an inner envelope so I clearly addressed on the front Mr. and Mrs. Guest and I have received several RSVP with children listed as coming. We are having a large wedding (too large if you ask me) and we had to cut our friends' and co-workers' (not in the wedding) kids from our guest list. I feel like a complete jerk but we can't afford or have room for a 100 more 'little' people at the wedding. How do I tell my friends and coworkers that their kids aren't invited without having them hate me?
