stupid FB question of the day

Can you untag pictures in someone else's album? If so, how do I do that? My daughter was tagged in some pictures, and I would rather not have her name out there.

Re: stupid FB question of the day

  • I believe you can only untag yourself - you'll have to ask the person who tagged to take her off.

  • I think if you log in under your daughter's account and go to the picture (there should be a notificiation "you were just tagged in so-and-so's photo") it should give you the option to delete. I've done it before.
  • So she doesn't have FB, they just wrote her name in? I don't think you can do that. If you yourself are tagged you'll see an untag option under the picture, but if I understand correctly I think you'd just have to ask them to remove her name.

  • You can also tighten up her security settings as well while you're at it so that only certain people can actually see her profile.  My mom got FB spammed the other day and I had to walk her through the security settings stuff as well as changing her password.
  • Your daughter can untag herself from someone else's pictures, or the person that posted the pictures can untag her.

  • She doesn't have a FB, so I will have to ask the person. Thanks, guys!
