NWR: blackberry curve 9300 3G

i just upgraded to this blackberry... my old blackberry could go 2-3 days without charging.  this one's already at half power after being fully charged yesterday afternoon (and i have it set up to turn off at 11pm, and on at 6am).  does the faster 3G cause the battery to drain faster?

I don't have a Blackberry, but I'm assuming you mean the 3G network? If so, then yes, unfortunately. I have a Motorola Backflip, and if I use the internet for an extended period during the day, it's dead by dinner time

Having a data connection will drain your battery, especially if it's not a super strong fantastico connection.

my last one held charge forever... i figured it was the 3G (which i still really dont even understand what that is!)

If you turn your bluetooth off, it will help a bit. I finally just caved and bought a car charger, and just stick it on there as soon as I get in the car
