My best friend is getting married in October, and I am her MOH. Her parent's are divorced (dad is remarried, and mom is in a relationship with someone else). Her parent's get along, but they don't really see one another very often now that their children are all grown. Would it be ok to have two birdal showers? One with her dad's side of the family and one with her mom's? There wouldn't be overlap (with guests). It seems ok to me, but thought I'd ask you all. It's been over 6 years since I planned my wedding...so I'm kinda out of the loop
