So I mom bought a new (used) car a couple weeks ago because her car was on it's last leg and she needed something reliable to be able to travel to visit my brother and me.
Well, two weeks ago we went up for my niece's bday party and my SIL accidentally backed their truck up into the side door of my mom's car. It bent the car door in and scratched a little paint off, but it looked like it could mostly be fixed by popping it back out. It's still been upsetting for her though because she JUST got the car and the shops were quoting over $1k to fix it.
Well apparently I just saw on Facebook that she was rear-ended last night after I spoke to her! She has even more damage to her back left bumper.
I feel so bad for her! I just had to share.
