This guy I work with, who is otherwise really nice, is a little detached from reality because he and his wife both make a TON of money and have done so since their twenties. He had an amazing wedding at the four seasons, with a huge band, etc.
My other coworker who sits next to him is planning her own wedding, which will be a modest affair. I actually heard him derisively telling her that if she's not going to have a band, she might as well use an ipod! I just hate when people are so overprivileged that they forget that other people have different circumstances.
