A documentary about crips and bloods and if not what should I watch on netflix?

P.S.  Does crip stand for crypt or cripple?  I always thought it was crypt.

I think I saw that crips and bloods doc. Is it on the History Channel? If it's the same one, it was pretty good and I'd recommend it.

This.  I'd watch it.  But I'm more of a science/history documentary nerd, so I might watch something else instead.

P.S. Did you know wars usually occur when there are an excess of males under the age of 25?  Maybe that's why there is gang violence, too  There may anthropologically be too many males under 25.

I love South Park. DId anyone else hear about the episode that had a bear named Muhammad and a radical Muslim group got really heated about it, and the one guy basically promised the creators violence/maybe death? They ended up censoring the next episode, but whoa.

Ive been following that all week, so messed up. Im pissed that it ended up censored.

night - timmy and jimmy (who are crippled) decide to create a club for crippled people called the crips and find out the crips already exists and they join the actual crips and kills some bloods. Its hilarious.

It took me a minute to remember but I love that one! I love all of South Park. Starvin Marvin from way back when is still my favorite though. Although the Family Guy/Manatee idea ball story arc was freaking hilarious too.

I actually looked this up awhile ago... it's from wikipedia, so who knows if it's accurate. Apparently they used to be called the "cribs" because the members were young but then they started carrying canes, to show their pimp status. People started called them "crips," short for crippled, because of the canes.

I would watch it. I love watching the show "Locked Up."

It's derivative of cribs because they were most 17 year olds when it started (so they were still babies).  It became crip and they began to carry canes to denote their status.

Another vote for the documentary.  I love them if they're well done.  Recently I was fascinated by one about the HoneyBaked Ham Co. and their spiral ham slicer invention.

And I always thought it was crypt, too.
