tell me...

when is it sort of "too late" to do a TTD?
i got married last june and now wanna do one for some reason.

Re: tell me...

  • I don't think it ever technically too late but if saw the you did it almost a year after the wedding I would think it was a bit odd.
  • Ditto miss.jawright.

  • I'm at a year and I still want to do one...except I can't fit into the dress :(
  • Whatever. I never did epics and on Sunday my friend asked if Mike and I would pose for pics so she could build her portfolio. I clearly wanted cute pics of Mike and I, so we sat for a e-pic-esque session. I think the only type of pics like this that bother me after the fact are bridal portraits with full hair and makeup. That is jsut too much effort for me.
  • Heck, I couldn't fit into my dress again about 15 minutes after it came off.  Forget a year later.

  • Lol Amrs. I wanted to wear it for Halloween and almost cried when it was 2 small. I think I even made a post going "Can my dress shrink drastically from sweat/cleaning"? No..no it can't..I can however gaine 20 pounds in 6 months however...
  • tell me...why don't you come around more often!!

  • I swear the wedding gods made some sort of pact with my body.  "ok, just deal with whatever crap she throws at you, fit into the dress, and then once it's all over you can have a free for all".

  • I think it'd be a cool way to celebrate an anniversary.

  • it wouldn't be like bridal portraits at all (i hate them).
i've lost a fair amount of weight.. so the dress fitting wouldn't be an issue. if anything it'll fit much better than the wedding day itself.  which is sort of another reason for me wanting them.

i don't want to be all AW about it though.

i just thought it would be cool. our photog didn't take hardly any pics of just the two of us.

it would be more deconstructed too than normal wedding photos. more natural. somewhere cool outdoors.
