Another Thank You note question

My apologies, as I feel I've read this before, but the search feature has not turned anything up.  My brother and SIL gave us a card for the wedding but no gift.  Do cards only still get thank you notes??  Just trying to finish up the last of our notes.  Thanks!!

Since it's your brother, I'd probably send a "thanks for coming, we appreciated the beautiful card" thank you note.

Yup, no money, just a card.  But it's not an issue to write up a note anyway.  Thanks ladies!

BIL did this.  I sent a thank you note.  Pretty much so that he knew I was aware that he didn't give us a gift.  Usually I don't care about such things but he was super gift grabby during his very recent wedding.  It was all so fresh that I was especially annoyed.
