1.  What book are you currently reading? Brief description? What am I NOT reading?  I have reading ADD.  The one that I've probably made the most headway on is Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman by Robert Massie.  It's a biography, and it's pretty good so far, although his Nicholas and Alexandra was infinitely more structured.  This one jumps around a lot.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? The Avengers, but I'm going to see Brave on Thursday.

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be?  Why? I could never, ever choose.  There are just too many people I'd want to talk to.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc. Historical/lounging.  I love both.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? Toast with butter.

1.  What book are you currently reading? Brief description?  I'm not reading anything but I thumbed through 50 Shades this weekend.  I won't read it.  Brief description: um, trashy?

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen?  We rented Our Idiot Brother a few weeks ago.  It was funny.

If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be?  Why?  I have a fascination with famous people who died young, so I'd like to talk to anyone in the 27 club (Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, etc), or Marilyn Monroe, Heath Ledger, people like that.  No idea why

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc.  Beach and ocean

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning?  Steel cut oats, a handful of strawberries and a big ass cup of coffee

1.  What book are you currently reading? Brief description? Summer Days by Susan Mallery, it is a new Triology in her Fool's Gold Series. It's a great light read, for when you just want to relax. It's about a woman who's grandfather gets into some trouble and it starts a chain of events, yes it's a romance.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? What to Expect When You're Expecting

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be?  Why? George Washington, I think it would be interesting to get his thoughts and the being our first President and where he hoped the country would go.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc. Lounging on a beach, going sight seeing. I like a little bit of everything.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? Special K Blueberry Crisps and a Grande Cookie Crumble Mocha.

1.  What book are you currently reading? Brief description? I started reading Two for the Dough like a month ago but haven't really been into it.  I just added the whole Game of Thrones series to my Kindle so I'll start that soon.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen?  Jeff Who Lives at Home.  

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be?  Why?  I don't know.  This question always reminds me how little excitement history brings for me.  Probably Lincoln.

75% lounging by the pool with a drink, then the other 25% with sight seeing or doing things in the area, like hiking or something.

The Greatest Knight, I think?  Typical medieval stuff.  It seems good so far.

Snow White and the Huntsman.  I don't recommend spending money to see it.

Lounging is probably my favorite, but I like all of them.

The third book in Anne Bishop's Ephermera series, can't remember the title. I can't even describe it because they are just the kind of books you have to read. Um, magic, other worlds, demon-type bad guys. Cool stuff.

Jack the Ripper. One, to find out who he (or she, if you believe the latest theory) was and just to chat

1.  What book are you currently reading? Brief description? Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I would much rather be reading it right now that working. Some people say it's really slow and draggy but I love it. Maybe I just love background information.

I just finished Delirium by Lauren Oliver.  It's Hunger Games/Giverish, I liked it.  It's a trilogy, and I loaded the next one on my Kindle, but haven't started yet.

Avengers, which I saw mostly for my DH, but I loved it!

Probably Eleanor Roosevelt, cause she was pretty kick-ass

I always say I want to lounge, but I end up finding things I feel we just have to do/see while we're there.

A banana and a special K strawberry bar...those things are pretty awesomely close to a poptart for something low-cal.

1.  What book are you currently reading? Brief description? 50 shades freed.  The last book of the 50 shades trilogy.  I really am... enjoying them a lot.  They are pretty dirty, but entertaining and I actually really like the story line behind all the sex.
2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? I saw what to expect when you're expecting in theatres, but H and I watched the Vow last night.
3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? I think I would want to talk to Amelia Earhart and see how she overcame all the negativity surrounding her ventures.  She seemed like a thrill seeker, and I like that. 
4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc. Mixture between lounging and active.  Our HM in CR was perfect, because we hiked and ziplined and explored, but we got to lounge around and relax too.
5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? A granola bar and an orange.

1.  What book are you currently reading? Brief description? 

"Let's Pretend This Never Happened" by Jenny Lawson.  It's written in a blog style, and is about her growing up in Texas, very poor with a fairly eccentric father.  So far I like it, it's really funny, but I have to wonder how much is exaggerated.  I'd reccomend it, however.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen?

Brave - I loved it!

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be?  Why? 

Jane Addams, one of the founders of Social Work.  She also won a Nobel Peace Prize and did a lot with woman's suffrage.  I've just always been fascinated by her and think her to be a very strong woman.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc. 

Historical.  I LOVE museums and visiting sites.  We're going to London for our HM and I can't wait to see all the sights there.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning?

Jimmy Dean D-lights B-fast Sandwich with turkey sausage and egg whites.  It was delicious.

Carry the One, by Carol Amshaw. On the wedding night of one character, the other 5ish main characters are in a car accident that kills a young girl. The book chronicles where they each go from there. It's meh.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen?
We saw The Five Year Engagement at the drive-in. It was disappointing. The true last move I've seen is Scent of a Woman, which H and I watched on our fancy new TV last weekend. It was loooong.

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why?
I'm terrible at this game b/c I can't make decisions.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc.
A mix of lounging and sight-seeing. I dig lounge vacations as breaks in the winter, but I'm also cool with visiting cities and sight-seeing. I'm not much of an adventure vacationer.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning?
The usual - a Kashi granola bar. I mixed it up by also having a banana. I live on the edge.

1.  What book are you currently reading? Brief description? Trying to get through Mockingjay.  I ready the other two in the series but I can't get through the third!

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? FI and I aren't movie people, so I honestly cannot tell you the last movie I saw.  

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be?  Why? I have no clue for this one...

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc Active...that's why we are going to Disney for our honeymoon.  We were going to go on a cruise but that didn't work out and we researched all-inclusives, only to realize that we aren't beach/pool/bar people, so we a.) wouldn't enjoy it and b.) wouldn't get our money out of it.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? Cereal.  Kashi berry something or other

If we're being technical about the books then I'm technically reading more than one also. Apparently I'm stuck in YA land right now but I'm okay with that. H picked up the first two books in the Kingdom Keepers series and I'm a negligable amount into the first one. Those are books about what happens in Disneyworld after dark when the characters come to life and such. They should be just a fun and easy read. Truth be told, H is more excited about them than I am.

I just finished The Sugar Queen, by Sarah Addison Allen. It's an adorable book about love and happiness and magic. Mandapanda gave it to me and I swear I've read it a hundred times whenever I'm feeling down.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen?
Um... The latest Twilight on DVD? I think there was something else, but I can't remember it, so clearly it was awesome.

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be?  Why?
This is always the easiest question for me.  Hands down-- Abe Lincoln. That man was a genius and he did so much more than we give him credit for.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc.
I can't say that I'm always one way or no way. I like to do a mix of stuff. I want to be able to lounge, take my time, but to be able to go out and see and do things whenever I want as well.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning?
Same as every morning-- 2 slices of toast with crunchy peanut butter and raspberry rhubarb jam.

Crucial Confrontations. It's a reread for dealing with people at work. I feel like I was in over my head with some of the interpersonal issues I was having to deal with.

I don't remember. Maybe Star Trek? It's been a while - I was thinking in theaters. We watched Captain America at home last weekend.

 3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be?  Why?

I don't know, I'm not a big history buff.

Active/historica/science - We love museums, aquariums, amusement parks. Neither one of us like to just sit around.

I'm often in YA land myself.  I haven't tried Kingdom Keepers, but seeing as I love Disney, I should probably give those a try.

Best Friends Forever. 2 girls who were best friends when they were around 11 - 1 turns into the popular girl in high school and the friendship starts to drift. One day the popular friend turns up on the other's doorstep after not seeing each other or speaking for about 20 years, saying she's in trouble and needs her best friends help. It's definitely a beach book (easy read, but entertaining)

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? Avengers, and it was great. Then I will be seeing Magic Mike this weekend.

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Hmmm... not sure how I would pick for this one.

Eagles - I love Jodi Picoult's books. Don't think I've read that one! But, like any writer like her, the books start to follow a pattern after awhile.

Rach - I'll look at that! I never bring suggestions, and then get cranky with the book that's picked. I'm not making the same mistake.

I'm kinda jealous of some of the healthier breakfast options you guys enjoyed!

1.  What book are you currently reading? Brief description? "I Know This Much is True" by Wally Lamb. It is about two adult twin brothers, one schizophrenic, the other "normal". The main story is about how the normal brother is dealing with his brother's illness, while realizing he has issues of his own, but there are several sub-stories within the novel. It's about love, child abuse, religion, family, the workings of the mental health community...a very, very deep book, one of my favorites. This is probably the twentieth time I've read it. 2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? Prometheus. Meh. 3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be?  Why? This may be morbid, but the WWII history buff in me would love to interview Adolf Hitler. I'd like to ask him why he did what he did, why he thought he was right, etc. I wonder if there was even a shred of humanity in him. Other than that, I would love to talk to pretty much anyone that was alive 1000 years ago. Even if they aren't historical figures, I would just like their perspective on life and the issues we face today. 4. What is your style of vacation? Eags/Meegles - I love Jodi Picoult as well. My mom got me started with My Sister's Keeper. I also love Janet Evanovich.

I'm also reading the Two income trap, Passionate Marriage, and Love & Respect.

I love self help books.

1. What book are you currently reading? Brief description? "I know this much is true" by Wally Lamb.  It's a re-read.  One of my favorites.  It's really long and I only read it every five years or so and am surprised by so many details that I've forgotten.  The main character has an identical twin who is schitzophrenic and it details their journey through discovering his illness and the affect it has on both of them.  There's also a story within the story involving their crazy grandfathers memoirs.  The book is actually pretty phucked up.  I love it. 

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? Extremely loud and incredibly close?  Is that the name?  I thought it was okay.  The little boy isn't very likable but the story is good.  Kind of a tear-jerker though with all the 9/11 stuff.   

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why?
I'm still thinking about this one.  My mind kind of jumps to Hitler to see why he felt so damned entitled to do what he did.  But I feel like that would be a pointless conversation when I could talk to someone else who could inspire me rather than argue with Hitler.  

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc.  I could go for active or lounging.   If I was in the right place, maybe a little historical stuff but it wouldn't be the purpose of the trip.  I'd probably lean toward lounging though.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? H wanted bacon so I made him bacon, eggs and toast.  I used the leftover bacon and had a BLT because I don't love eggs.
