Central Park NYC wedding help

Has anyone done a NYC wedding in central park?  Does anyone know how this works,  is a permit required?

I decided not to have my wedding there, but I looked into it.  You have to get a permit, as well as a photography permit.  Here's the link to the official Central Park website  that explains the fees and procedures:

If you have more than twenty guests, you need a permit, which is $25.  You do *not* need a special photography permit at all.  But keep in mind that no security guard will be there to prevent folks from watching, so do not marry in a place where walkers have no choice but to walk thru, such as the Bow Bridge.

The above holds true UNLESS you get married in the Conservatory Gardens of Central Park.  The ceremony permit there is $400 and photography permit is $100.
