NWR: Change in hairstyle help?

Now that I'm happily married and no longer growing my hair out for the wedding, I'm bored with it and want a change, but having a hard time finding inspiration. Can you all help me think of celebrities who have hair similar to mine which is: stick straight (wouldn't hold a curl if you put an entire can of hairspray on it), the individual hairs are  thin, but I have a lot of them so it makes my hair look thick, but it has the properties of fine hair.

I think I want to keep it on the longer side, but bangs, coloring, etc is all up in the air. Anyone feel like helping a girl out? Laughing

Re: NWR: Change in hairstyle help?

  • I'd need to see a picture of you now to know what might look good
  • I am not close enough friends with any celebrities to know the thickness of their individual hairs. My loss.
  • I have very similar hair to you.

First, I would start off with a change in color if you're bored. I went from blonde highlights to dark brown a month or two ago and it was nice. I also have side sweaping bangs because I need something and I have a big calic. I keep my hair around shoulder length since it's so fine and I put some layers in it. I've also done an angled bob where the short part in the back started around the base of my neck and it angled down to where the front was around chin length. That was fun, but my hair would lose oomph during the day and it would look blah.

  • Here are a couple of pictures of me if it will help:

  • Woah we could be hair twins, same color and everything. I have pretty much the hair style that you have in your pics and I have no idea what else to do with it either. I don't want the hassel of coloring, I look like a man with short hair and I am resistant to bangs because growing them back out if I change my mine is a huge pain the the butt.

Hopefully these ladies have good advice because we are in the same boat!
  • I like the style in the second picture - something like that with more side-swept bangs? Color-wise I probably wouldn't take it dark, maybe some golden highlights?
