I'm creeped out, too

When I got up this morning, our front door was wide open. WIDE OPEN!

Nothing looks different inside and there aren't any tracks in the fresh snow, so I'm about 90% sure that the door wasn't closed all the way so it latched and we forgot to lock it before we went to bed so it blew open. Either way....I'm spooked.

Eeeeekkk!

Unfortunately, I'm anything but busy. Since I got home, I'm starting job searching, so that's kinda lame. I have, however, been VERY busy watching Untold Stories of the ER. Very Busy.

How are you? Up to no good?

Butterscotch? Who eats that crap? I concur with MrsB. It HAS to be chocolate.

  • Ok, ok, chocolate works too.  But for the record, I enjoy liking butterscotch.  The stores ALWAYS have it, because no one else likes it.
  • The same thing happened to me too, a few months ago! Except it was our back door. Which doesn't have a dead bolt, just a handle lock. So we think it was locked, but the handle didn't click in the door, so the cat accidentally opened it.

What was funny was that FI got up and said, "Oh shiit!" and closed it. Then he heard a bell outside, opened the door, and said, "Gus, come back inside," and the cat came back in. (He's not allowed out.) I think he was just afraid of being locked out there!

It was really weird, especially since FI always checks both doors before bed. He then double checked the house to make sure no one was in it (or that none of the neighbors cats got in). We figure it wasn't open long.

  • I like butterscotch puddin' too. And pistachio. But not so much for wrestling.
  • Aw, Georgia, just add that to my list of reasons I love you.
