One of my close friends is getting married in a destination wedding next year. She has asked me to be a bridesmaid, which is fine, but she is expecting all the wedding guests, including the wedding party, to pay $150/each to get on to the super-expensive inclusive resort where they are having the wedding. This means it will cost $300 for my husband and I to attend the wedding. She also expects us to pay the same amount for the rehearsal dinner at the resot the night before. Am I wrong to think this is tacky? Anybody have a good way to tell her? She doesnt take constructive criticism well.
