Did I do a faux passe?

I am reading on here that when you do addressing that if a couple is not married that they go on 2 lines and no and is used.  Well when I did my christmas cards I did our return address like this:

My First Last Name and FI's First Last Name.
Address

is this really a big deal....it is already done and people sent back cards addressed to us in a few ways...some just to me (my family), Fi's name and Amanda, or my full name instead of just first. 

Did I break a big rule...cards only went out to family...who knows we are getting married.  only 5 months to go.

Technically you did not do the return address correctly.  I doubt most people will notice, or judge that.  Probably unless they have consulted etiquette books for addressing invitations, it probably won't be noticed.
