Brunch the day after with OOT guests/family

Who pays? Can everyone just pay for their own?

If you organize it ahead of time, you need to pay.
You could make it all impromptu that morning though and say "oh hey, we're going to brunch in about an hour if you want to drop by"
  • If you send out invitations or make it an orgnized event then you are the host and you should be paying.  If you just casually say "we will be eating brunch at X place at Y time if anyone wants to join us" then people can pay for their own.

  • Ditto PP.  Most of our OOT guests stayed at the same hotel, which offered a pretty decent breakfast buffet.  It was nice to stop by there and hang out with everyone (and not worry about having to order, split a bill, etc.).  Maybe you can look into that when you're blocking hotel rooms.
  • We're having a small wedding and 90% of the guests are OOT so we put on our web page that there is a brunch buffet in the hotel lobby restaurant and people are welcome to join us at 11:00 before they head out on the road.  And we put the price info so people can plan ahead of time.
