New to the board and need venue help

Hello all
FI and I are having trouble narrowing down our venues. We are looking inNJ, Westchester and NYC. We have looked at liberty house (which did not have our preferred date) maritime parc, bridgewaters and also Bronx botanical gardens. We are not looking for the typical ballroom/banquet hall. Does anyone know of interesting venues that may not be advertised on the knot/location magazines? Something on NJ waterfront or westchester waterfront would-be amazing! Thank you!!

Just as an idea...if you are already thinking of the Botanical Garden (as you know catered by Abigail Kirsch) you might want to look into their other exclusive venues. Pier 60 (?) is on the water in Manhattan, Tappan Hill is a beautiful mansion in Westchester (maybe you know all of this)  All of their locations look pretty nice.

Chelsea Piers is gorgeous- big glass windows overlooking the water.

If you're willing to do something a little different, the Bronx Zoo does amazing events

If you liked Liberty House, you can also look at the Chart House in Weehawken or Waterside's in N. Bergen. They both have NYC views.

Marina del Rey in the Bronx, right on the water, with beautiful views on the city and the bridget. Pricy but Spectacular!

India House is a really nice venue. The foundry is also nice, but it's in Long Island City. Botanical Gardens in Brooklyn and The Central Park Boathouse also

We are doing the Central Park Boathouse in December and I can't begin to tell you what an amazing experience we've been having.  Stephanie Tighe (who is our coordinator) has been absolutely OUTSTANDING helping with every part of the process.  I'd be lost without her.

Not only that but the space is to die for and the food is out of this world.  We've been to a wedding there before and it was perfect and made me want to have ours there.

My sister got married at Tappan Hill as well and that was also amazing and the food and service was perfect (Abigail Kirsch).

    Best of luck!
