I am in a little dilemma regarding my bridal shower - my MOH will be moving to Las Vegas in December, and my only other bridesmaid is my sister. All the etiquette I've read has said that only non-close family members can host a bridal shower. Having an aunt host is not an option for my family. My MOH cannot make it back for the shower, only for the wedding. So, given the circumstances, can my sister host the shower?
Also, given my sisters great opposition to anything wedding related, she would be the hostess in name only - it wouldl actually be my mother putting together the shower, with long distance help from my MOH.
