NWR: PDF help?

I have downloaded some forms from the Ellis Island site, but they are in non-writable .pdf form.

Is there a way to convert them so i can fill them in electronically?

H says only if you have Illustrator or the paid Acrobat.  It also depends on how it was formatted at the time of saving.

I don't believe so. You could copy them as though they're images, paste them somewhere (photoshop/paint) and add words that way, although it would probably be just as easy to print them out, fill them in and scan them, presuming you need to send them electronically somewhere.
