Thank you notes

Hi brides,

I need some advice... Should I write thank you notes to people who didn't give us a gift? I had two that gave us a card but no gift and I wrote them a thank you... I just don't know what to do about the others. I understand some people don't have money but it seemed odd that they didn't even give a card.

You should only write thank you notes to those who gave you a gift. The reception is the "thank you" for those who showed up to the ceremony.

Writing thank you notes to those who didn't give you a gift makes it seem like you are calling them out for it, possibly in hope of them sending you a gift later.
