We got married September 26. It poured rain, it was cold, and it was perfect just the same.

I didn't, because I figured it would be one of those things where people go, "Oh...right....great....who the hell are you, again?" and it was too much work to AW them for that.

The train track one was one of my favourites. It had a "ma and pa" old-timey feel to it and made me laugh when I saw my dress hiked up.

My post count is totally whacked out. I had something like 800, but TK ate a bunch and now, alas, I have a paltry 212. I'm not by any means a regular poster, but have been around a long time. I joined when my friend was getting married, and stuck around through my own planning.

I forgot to AW one of my favourite pictures. The favours.

OMG. We made them all, and then ended up having about 35 people who couldn't make it over from Slovakia because of the crazy visa regulations that were implemented. We had 35 extra favour boxes to eat. It was really rough, you know. Toughest two weeks ever!

Thanks for all your kind words. Our wedding was a long time coming (almost a 3-year engagement) and it meant a lot to see it all come to fruition. Of course, a zillion things went screwy and it wasn't exactly what we had in mind, but in the end it didn't matter.

And, we still had chocolates left over. That helped to ease my sorrows.

*laughs* Yeah, the 3-year engagement was kind of my requirement. I was in a really intensive grad program and barely working, so although DH makes good money, I wanted to be able to contribute and not have the entire weight of a wedding on him. Now that I was able to work for a while, we were able to pay the wedding off with no credit involved, which is all I wanted.

Again, the chocolate helps.
