Would you go?

A friend of mine is getting married in April. She asked for my address a while back, so I am assuming an invitation is on the way. Yesterday I got an email from a girl I'm assuming is her MOH, asking for ideas regarding my friends upcoming bachelorette party....I glanced through the others the email got sent to, and didn't recognize anyone, except one girl.

This one girl happens to be the girl my ex cheated on me with.

Now, I adore my friend---and I'd be willing to attend this OOT b-party for her. Except I'm not sure how I would feel being in the same room with the "other girl." I know that's long gone, I'm in a new relationship, but I can't help but hold a lot of dislike for her.

Would you go?

Actually shelly I find that easier to follow because it doesn't repeat...

Brother's friend's brother's other brother's friend. That's it I'm lost.

Rach I was referring to the example shelly posted. I was saying it was easier to follow than friend's sister's friend's sister.

Yes, go...look amazing...be happy...and be the better person, with a few of those passive-aggressive remarks trown in.  And if that is not enough...slip a couple drops of Visine in her drink.  Raging diarrhea is a good comeback I think.

I voted that I wouldn't go, but then, I am quite shy, and the idea of going to a party where I don't know anybody except somebody I hate makes me nervous already, and I'm not even actually going. Come to think of it, though, I would be curious to talk to the girl my ex cheated on me with. Might be interesting.

It sounds like you want to go, though, and you have a good head on your shoulders about going. As for the drinking, who cares what happens? Not like you're ever going to see most of those people again, except at the wedding.
