What is a resonable amount of time for a vendor to respond to a voicemail?
Details...
Last fall I was looking into getting a room layout of my reception venue for tables and I e-mailed the person who I signed the contract with. She never responded, so I sent an e-mail to her superior, who also never responded. I live out of state, so my mom went up to the golf course where the hall is and talked to the person in charge. He told her that he prefers to be called (then why put your e-mail on the website, but anyways...) and answered my questions through her.
Monday I called and left the gentleman in charge a voicemail regarding raises in food costs, and as of now, he hasn't returned my phone call. Should I be concerened about this pattern of behavior? I have the opportunity to move my reception to the ceremony site and lose a $250 deposit, but it would mean finding a new caterer 5 months before the wedding. Anyone have any suggestions?
