Just the friend, not the family?

I'm a young bride (20!) so I want to invite a lot of my high school classmates. How do I invite *just* my classmate, and not their entire family, since many of them still live at home?

If they are in relationships, then they need to be invited with their significant other, as well.

Simply address the invitation to your friend.  Not everyone in a household needs to be invited.
