How is everyone today?  Short weeks?  I work until Thursday at noon then I'm off until next Wednesday.  Very excited since I feel like I didn't get a weekend this past one b/c I was so busy.

Good morning!

I have a normal sized week except today is only a half day (it's winter break for my students, so my normal class is on holiday!). 

H still hasn't bought my Christmas gift.  Is it a horrible thing that I just ordered myself something so that I have something to play with on Christmas?  I feel like a bad, impatient person, but darn it, a shopping deal showed up.

Morning. I slept about 1.5 hours last night so I'm dragging today. But, I just checked my account and I have 3 days of PTO still left for this year so I emailed the supervisors to see if I could use them this week. I could totally go for a short work week, and our queue is pretty low so at least we aren't slammed with work.

Yesterday was our Christmas at the grandparents. It was a lot of fun, although I realized I just can't handle children. They were really irritating. But I got some cool gifts, including a pizza stone, so I can't really complain.

Good Morning. My week is normal, but that includes having Wednesday off. Lucas will be home Thursday night instead of Friday so that's different.

You gotta do what you gotta do Mica!  Everyone needs a new gadget for Christmas.  I especially love holiday weeks b/c I work 8 hour days as opposed to my normal 10 hour days.  So I'll be out of here by Mon-Wed.  That'll feel like a little break in itself. 

My mom just called and my sisters boyfriend hit a deer in her car this morning.  Smashed up the front end pretty good apparently.  No insurance.  Idiot.  She has totaled a car before hitting a deer andplusalso, insurance is like THE LAW.    I hope they can get it all figured out w/o getting into trouble all at the same time.

Sesh I love my pizza stone!  It really makes a difference in the crust.  I think kids that aren't your own are always so much more annoying.  You can't tell them how to act, you just have to sit there and wait for their parent to say something, which of course feels like it takes forever!

Morning! I work til Wed. this week and then I'm off until January 3. I can't WAIT! We finished our Christmas shopping and have most of our wrapping done. I'm just dreading hauling all our gifts 2 hours for our Christmas this weekend. Next year, I'm going to try to convince everyone to come to us for Christmas.

We were at SIL's this weekend for Christmas because they're going back home to TX for the holiday. I'm so glad the boys liked the toys we got them (bazooka nerf type things). They're so hard to shop for, but within minutes of opening them they were running around the house shooting each other with them. We got our niece a doll that has buttons and snaps and zippers and ties. She loves it, but doesn't get the point of all of that yet. :-)

I have a pizza stone too.  It's really useful for making bread as well as pizza.  It helps keep the oven temperature even.

Oh, the kids were yelled at many times, but it didn't matter. One of them was constantly harassing H but he didn't want to say anything since it's my family and he didn't want to sound bad, so I finally leaned in close and told her in my best scary voice, "You need to stop right now. It's not funny and you need to leave him alone." She didn't talk to me for the rest of the time there, ha.

I've never actually used a pizza stone, so we'll see how it goes!

I my pizza stone. I use it to roast veggies, cook chicken, reheat quinoa. It's so versatile it actually never leaves my oven.

I am excited because its NEW EMPLOYEE BAGEL DAY which means I get to eat a bagel in honor of the new dude we hired. Who reminds me of Leon Vance from NCIS for some reason. Maybe its because he is his twin.

I am scrambling to get a conference together for the beginning of January without the assistance of my CW but I feel like I need her guidance on some issues. I hate calling her on her week off but I just might have to.

Other than that I am great. I asked H what Santa was bringing me this year and he said something shiny. So many things can be shiny. That is not good enough dude.

"Shiny" is not a good enough hint, Rosie.  I concur.  H won't give me any hints at all.  I know where he's hiding the gift, and I know he put it in a box that has a picture on it that isn't what's inside.  Which is kind of a relief, because I accidentally saw the box, and was wondering why the hell he was getting me a boom box.

Good morning!

It's actually a normal week for me except on Friday I only work 6 hours instead of 8.  So I guess that's short  It actually works out though, because since our corporate offices are closed on Friday, everyone that has to work (even though it's only 6 hours) gets 8 extra hours of PTO to use in the next 6 months.

We went and saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie last night, it was actually really good.  I was impressed.

Morning!  Is TK actually working again?  Is everyone going to come back and play again then?

I only have to work 3 days.  Tomorrow is Christmas with my dad and his family, so I get to see my nieces and meet my sister's Fl.  So I'm excited.  Then I work wed/thurs and then I'm off for a few weeks!  WOOT WOOT.  Except I don't get paid because I already used up all my vacation, so that's going to be a bit crappy.

Have you guys gotten or sent a call from "Santa" through google?  One of my friends sent one to me yesterday and it was cute.   You can personalize it  - mine was about how he knew I had been a good teacher all year.  =-)

Good morning!  I had a nice relaxing weekend.  I made headbands for my nieces, and I finally finished the Christmas wreath for the front door.  I have a normal week, but I'm leaving early on Thursday for H's company Christmas lunch so that'll break the week up a bit.  They normally let us leave early on Friday for the holiday, too. 

Mrs. B, baby B is getting so big!  She's so cute!

I haven't recieved mine yet.  Since today is the deadline, shall we do the reveal tomorrow?  It gives people a chance to get home from work and check the mail?  Or I guess we could reveal today and people could add when they get home or tomorrow?

I stayed up watching it, too, DJ. What did you think of the result? Morning y'all. I'm at my parents' place, loving the frost outside. Mom and I are going Christmas shopping today and then meeting up with my friend/former teacher/former boss for lunch. I haven't had a chance to really hang out with him in a while so that'll be fun. We've been exchanging presents early as we go since I won't be here with my family for Christmas. One of mine was awesome and made me happy, I've been wanting a dramatic haircut and new color for a while but never get around to having the guts or wanting to spend the money. I was finally thinking of making an appt this week before going to see the future ILs later this week and I guess my mom just knows me and has perfected reading my mind bc she had a little card waiting for me, saying they'd pay for the appt, and at this great place with a lady who's excellent at color. I'm pretty excited about that.

Morning all, I am working all week also, FI has been asking me to take Tuesday-Wednesday off to up to the cottage, he has been working mucho double shifts.  But I do not feel I can do that with work since I am taking all but one day off next week. 

Had the bestest weekend with my kids.  They are home from college for 5 weeks.  It is amazing how much they have changed.  We went and saw "The Sitter" last evening at the movies.  It was good.  I love popcorn.

I am with you Habs, on the waiting till tomorrow.  I mailed mine out last week to my SS so I am hopeful they get it today.  Also, I have not received my SS gift yet either.  No worries, if you want to move forward. 

Sesh, love a pizza stone, next you will want stones to bake cookies on.  I will not bake cookies on any other pan.  Perfect every time!

Good morning!

I had a good weekend. I went to the farmer's market on Saturday and they had purple cauliflower, so that was very exciting.

Yesterday the only time I left the house was to pick up Chipotle to go, so Sunday was also awesome. I also got bored and packed for my trip and I can fit everything in a carry-on! I'm pround of myself.

I finished the flowers for the headbands, and then it was either stop and clean the house, or keep crafting.  I think we all know the better choice.

Good morning! I just went to the gym for the first time this month. It's so much easier when I'm not working. I'm going to go bowling this morning and then get FI's Christmas gift. I know what I'm getting him, just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm a slacker.
