Jess--We watched it last night. I am not a late night tv kinda person--but it just seems like such a shady situation.

I'm here.  Trying to get the cats off of me and deciding if I have enough ambition to go out to the bar or a movie.  Nothing's showing till after 10, and I don't think I want to stay up that late.  The bar ain't sounding too bad, but it's kinda icky outside and my insides feel icky about the same.

I caught part of Conan's last show.  The end was touching, and I'm really sad he's not on for a while now.  I really hope he gets something else cause I liked him.  I like Leno too, but I really like Conan.

I watched most of it last night, but my friend came over. She missed it last night. I almost cried last night, and I'm drinking wine now, so I'll probably be crying tonight! He got screwed out of the show, and even thought he'll get another show, the tonight show is like the ultimate.

It's so stupid and I feel like a huge brat, but I'm really upset that FI's family is not throwing a shower for me.  I've mentioned it before on here, but when FBIL/FSIL got married they were living in the same town we were, exact same situation, and they threw her one.  I don't care about the presents, it just makes me feel like they don't like me as much as they like her.  FMIL said back in August someone would do something for me since they did it for FSIL...but nobody's volunteered. 

I just hate going into the family feeling like nobody likes me.

I can totally relate.  There is no other shower in my situation which makes it worse, but with all the weirdness of FI's family sometimes, I was wishing they would.  I, of course, can never say this out loud.

Yeah.  I just feel like FI's family doesn't care about us at all--they blatantly prefer FBIL to FI, and apparently this extends to me now, too.

Haha, Night, it's fine, it's good to have someone to relate to.  I will be peeing with excitement two weeks out, too! 

Rach--I doubt there's any surprise in the works--they'd have to get my schedule from FI somehow, and he can't keep a secret from me to save his life.   I just keep blowing it out of proportion into "they totally hate me and LOVE FSIL" which is probably not true.

Anyway, off to the movies!  Night guys!

Oh, Brie, we can trade!  People keep wanting to throw me showers, and I really don't want any.  I'd be cool with a lunch or a tea or whatever, but no silly games, and I really don't want to open presants while a bunch of people watch me.  That's like a nightmare for me. 

My sister keeps fending them off.  Want me to see if she wants to have it for you instead?

At my shower they did a quiz about me and FI.  It was long and painful.  I had to smile and not talk through the whole damn thing.  The things we do for family.
