My FI asked a friend he has known since he was very young to be a groomsman in our wedding. The friend now lives fairly far away from us, and my FI doesn't see or talk to him that often. They last talked 5 months ago, which is when my FI intially asked him. Since then, my FI has tried calling him and leaving him messages many times, but never gets a call back. We really need to get a hold of him to pass on attire information, etc (we don't even have his address to send him an invitation!). The wedding is about 80 days away! Should we even be considering him part of the wedding party? Should we ask someone else to take his place? Please give me your opinions!
