WOOHOO! Our Utah girls are coming home to visit!

DH's DDs live in Salt Lake City.  We haven't seen his oldest since Christmas 2010.  His youngest is moving back to this side of the country to Indianapolis and then possibly back to MI.

We are cooking up a surprise for DH - he has no idea.  I have to call his boss tomorrow to arrange his day off that week (election day).  His girls will just show up in the driveway.  He will be so thrilled!  DH will come home early from school after DH has had a chance for some time with the girls and then my girls and g'kids will come for dinner.

I will have to make this a politically free zone on election day though.  His oldest is the polar opposite of us as far as politics goes, but we have never had a problem.  We all respect each other's right to our opinions and we just don't talk politics.  She is a very smart young woman who really researches issues and candidates and puts a lot of thought behind her vote.  I really respect that.  We just won't be watching any of the election results that night.  We have much visiting to do anyway.

Sooo happy.  Another perk, is DS has to clean his room according to CDC decon standards so they can sleep there.  That is well overdue.

  • So exciting! My aunts like to surprise my grandmother and uncle with visits sometimes and it's always a lot of fun.
