Where to buy flowers?

Can anyone recommend a flower market in NYC?  I'm looking for a place where I can buy small numbers (10 stems or so) of a variety of different flowers (~50 stems in total).

I've found some wholesale flower markets through Google like Dutch flower line, etc., but it's unclear whether I can buy only a few stems or whether I'd have to buy in bulk.  I'd appreciate any help or advice ladies!

    In the market you have to buy bulk - you should just try any of the local grocery stores in the city.

    they are the best for just stems.
