Due to budget reasons and venue limit, we already have a tight guest list and have decided not to invite children outside the immediate family (my two nieces and my fiance's nephew are the only three children coming). I have read all about ways to address the invitations and that "adult reception only" isn't generally accepted because it shows who ISN'T invited.
However, I have read that some people mention it on their website...is this a good idea? I was thinking of putting something under guest information that read "We would love to be able to celebrate our day with everyone special to us but due to some limitations we are unable to include children outside of our immediate family." ...Not exactly that, but something like it maybe. Any suggestions? Or should I skip mentioning it all together? Thank you!!
