A few months ago, the manager at the restaurant/ballroom we used for our reception friend requested me on FB and asked if they could look at our wedding photos for a project they were working on. I have full copy rights from the photographer - and a lot of them are on my FB - so I told him to have at it.
Yesterday, H and I were downtown for lunch and decided to stop in to the restaurant to say hi to the manager. He was excited to see us, and he showed us the "project" he had been working on. He put together a slideshow/DVD for brides who come in to see their facility, with photos of their food and facilities.
And he used about 30 of our wedding photos to show them how it looks in use. He also used a few of the formals we took at the park down the road. He said the slideshow has been a big hit, and he thanked us for letting him use our photos.
Haha. I thought the whole thing was kind of cool.
