Did anybody do boudoir pics...

....and end up hating them?  I just did a session earlier today with my wedding photog and am already having second thoughts about the whole thing.  I'm plus sized, the hair and makeup ladies did my hair in some crazy-funky styles (not really like me) and I shot without my glasses (and I never go without my glasses, except for bed). 

I only spent $75 on them so I guess if I really don't like them I can do them again, but I'm just curious if anybody had a B-pic shoot and the results didn't live up to what you expected?

I don't think that my size kept me from doing them, but it's my inner-critic that kept me from doing them. I'm not happy with a large majority of my wedding pictures because I think I look fat, and i'm wearing a long gown with sleeves there, so I can only imagine wearing something else.

I think that if I find myself being far less critical of my body, I may do them eventually as a gift to DH for an annviersary or something.

But for now, I keep my clothes on when the camera is out.

I think it'll come out fine. I think half of the fun of looking at the pics will be seeing you in a different environment and looking different. It'll be more exciting that way verses what he sees every day. Now I'm not saying he doesn't like what he sees every day, but I know if I ever put on a short skirt (I never wear them) or heavier make-up Dh goes nuts.

FI doesn't want me to. He says he doesn't want some random photographer seeing me in my undies. Aside from that, I really don't want to either! WAY to self-critical. He joked (in a not really joking kind of way) that HE'LL take them if I feel I have to.
