Jake is pretty crazy.  I am fairly certain it's a lab thing.  He also doesn't understand he doesn't fit in laps anymore.

Good morning everyone!  I'm off of work today, so that makes me a happy girl.  We were having a couple meetings today, and I'm glad I got to miss them.  All they ever do is make me dislike my job more. 
I have a ton to do today, so hopefully I'll actually get some stuff done.  H has a phone interview at 9, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will work out.

Are you being put under for the procedure? I was put under and had all four of mine cut out. It wasn't the best day in the entire world, but I can say that I've experienced a lot more painful things in my life. The only complication I had was that my empty stomach didn't like the pain meds they gave me. Once I switched to an OTC pain med, I was a lot better.



We had a pretty good weekend. We got our tree and I took the pup to see Santa yesterday:

Birdie, they said I won't need general anaesthetic because 2 of my teeth are totally out (which I guess is just like pulling any old tooth) and the others are partially out where they have to cut skin (ew ew ew) but not bone.

I cannot believe you took Oz to Santa. I love it!

Morning! We got snow flurries on Saturday night and I just wanted to run around in them. I love snow. And I think I'm 4 years old when it comes to snow.

Emily, I think that's good then! My totally uneducated opinion is that it might be easier for you to recover if they're pulling instead of cutting. Honestly, I was more freaked out from my Lasik surgery than the wisdom teeth surgery. It'll be over before you know it!

Yeah I love taking Oz to see Santa. The Humane Society here does it every year as a fundraiser. It took a few shots to get him to not look so goofy. He was awesome the first year as a puppy, but the past two years he's had a funny look on his face.

Hahaha, I fully thought that you were just those crazy dog people who took him to see Santa at the mall as though he were a human child, and Santa was ok with having a dog on his lap. And I was thinking to myself whether we could make that work somewhere here.

I had a busy weekend.  But, it's nice to be back to normal.  It's my GF's birthday today and we're going to Red Lobster for dinner.  It's become a tradition.  I am so looking forward to it!

Yep. I don't think I have ever been so freezing in my life. And my coworker (who was our ride down there) did like 10 shots of Jack Daniels and projectile vomited all over the place. It was really great.

Oh, that's what people were chanting!  On TV, you could tell there was a chant, but you couldn't tell what it was saying.
