Alternative to the Rainbow Room?

I'm visiting Manhattan this weekend for a trip to see my sister while my fiance has his bachelor party.  I had my heart set on drinks at the Rainbow Room on Saturday evening while fiance and the guys are doing their thing, but I haven't been to NYC in several years and I just found out the Rainbow Room closed!  Can anyone recommend someplace else with an upscale vibe where I'll be overlooking the city?  Thanks in advance!

    The bar at the top of the Marriott Marquis in Times Square revolves and has an amazing view of the city.  It isn't as upscale as the Rainbow Room but the view is pretty fanstastic.

    Also try:

    -  any of the bars in the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle, for a view of central Park
    -  hotel rooftops, such as the top of the Kimberly Hotel in midtown and Ava Lounge at the Dream Hotel
