Apparently he is now coming after much pouting and foot stomping. My FI came home from work last night (he works 2nd shift) and I told him about the theatrics and he was hurt that my dad was blowing us off when we were trying to do something nice. My mom told him my FI was upset by his attitude and for some reason knowing he upset FI bothered him more than upsetting me so he has now, begrudgingly agreed to come along. So now we are back to the original plan of meeting at our house and ridding together, all that hysteria for nothing, grrrr.
