That's The Big Fish. And I love him because he is the most caring, generous, and selfless person. He'd do anything for any of his kids in a heartbeat.

I love my dad because he's hands down, my best friend. When my parents got divorced a year ago, my dad and I got super close (my mom left my dad for another guy)....He's the greatest guy in the world, and was dealt a really shitty hand...but, still kept his head up. Leaving my dad in Ohio will, without a doubt, be the hardest part about moving

Yep, he was a hardcore runner.  (Allegedly) my first words were actually a sentence--"Daddy, I'm so glad to see you!" when he got back from a run one day.  :)

I love my dad because he is always there for me.  He is in South Africa now so I didn't get to spend fathers day with him.

 I love my dad because he has always encouraged me to fly for my dreams. He was always there when I had nightmares, guy problems, or was questioning my current way of life. He always let me make my own mistakes and was the first one to pick me up when I was done. I also will love him forever for being so accepting of Scott and not immediately judging him for being 10 years older than me. My dad's take on the matter was simply "If he makes my daughter happy, that's all that matters to me"

Obviously I'm not in this picture but I don't have a recent one with him or any on my computer .  This is my dad (far left), Papa, and Godfather.

My dad is awesome because even though he doesn't say much when he does say something it's either very meaningful or very funny/corny.  He's also great because he always worked so hard for our family and yet was still able to be our soccer coach and come to most of our school functions.

I'm daddy's girl.  My dad has always encouraged both my sister and I to become independant women.  He's always been there if we needed him, and allowed us to live on our own if we didn't.  I love going over to visit and just hang out.  I wish that he would find peace and happiness at this point in his life.  He deserves it.

I love my Dad because he is such an honorable man and was such a great example of what I should look for in a husband.  My Dad has always thought of others before himself.  He makes me laugh and I know he loves me unconditionally.  His health is not good and I'm thankful for every day I have with him here on this Earth.

He loves running (and is a big nerd, physics teacher and all), so I gave him a heart rate monitor for Christmas.  He's a big goofball who tells really bad jokes!  He also LOVES baseball and took my brother to the College World Series four years ago as his graduation gift (I don't think they twisted his arm to go).

I like it too! I love seeing people's parents to see who gets what traits.

This weekend my SIL and BIL came to town with my nephew for his baptism.  I haven't seen him since he was a day old.  There's a picture of FIL and Luke is identical.  Its freaky.  I don't know if I've ever seen such a resemblance.

I wish I had the pictures here, but my brother and grandpa were the same way.  There's a picture of my grandpa at 4 that looks dead on my brother at the same age.

Here's my dad & my fiance (and my parents' cats) at Christmas.

I love my Dad because he lost his job and became a mostly stay at home dad while my mother worked when I was 7-9, and he never let on that it was a major sacrifice for him to be un or underemployed and spending all his evenings with his daughter.

Also, because he can read and watch TV at the same time and keep track of both.

I love my dad because of his humor. He is so goofy and outgoing. We had a long time in which we didnt talk, but DH ended up bringing us back together. We had breakfast with my dad, stepmom, and half brother today and gave him his 'gift'. I told him that DH and I are trying to start a family. He cried, it was so touching. He had cancer twice and I think he feard even dreaming of having grandchildren.
