shower timeframes...

I am having a baby in mid-June.  My sister is getting married in late July.  We are having the baptism in mid-late August.  My DH's BFF is getting married in mid September.  I am in both weddings; DH is also in the September wedding. 

I think the latest *I* can reasonably host my sister's showers would be early May -- although I would prefer late April.  Is that too early for a late July wedding?

I would like to host a Jack&Jill for friend's wedding in early August (probably the first weekend).  Sidenote:  this groom will be LO's godfather.  We all have to travel to family church for baptism so I am trying to be aware of their pre-wedding activities as well.  His family lives near DH's family, so I am going to try to time another shower that same weekend in his family.

Do you think these timeframes will work?  The good part is I will be out on maternity for June through September wedding.  I may have lack of sleep while planning and hosting but at least I won't be trying to work too.

I think late April or early May are fine, just as long as you invite only those who are definitely invited (but you already knew that )
