Re: bridal entrance

  • Did you ask your music director or priest yet? Some churches restrict the songs you can use. I like "Prelude to a Te Deum" myself. I'm also hoping we can use Ennio Morricone's "Gabriel's Oboe."

  • Definitely check with your church's music director.  Your organist should be willing to meet with you to play different selections to help you decide.  (I'm a church organist, and I do that).Having said that, some suggestions I have are:  Air on the G String:  BachCanon in D-PachelbelArioso-BachPrelude #1 in C major from the Well Tempered Clavier-BachSpring from The Four Seasons-VivaldiAutumn from The Four Seasons-VivaldiTrumpet Voluntary (aka Prince of Denmark's March) ClarkeTrumpet Tune-PurcellWater Music-HandelSeveral of the Brandenburg Concertos-BachSinfonia-BachSheep May Safely Graze-BachClaire De Lune-DebussyGirl with the Flaxen Hair-DebussyFur Elise-BeethovenPsalm XIX-MarcelloWedding March~Lohengrin (Here Comes the Bride) Wagner
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146
